  • A Safe Community Is Our Priority

The health and well-being of our clients, service professionals, and surrounding community is our highest priority, which is why for twenty years, your Salon Emage Team has met,  or exceeded, all Board of Cosmetology and Health Department standards.

During this time of concern, our steadfast resolve to community safety through ongoing sanitation efforts has grown even stronger. Therefore, we have made additions to our already comprehensive sanitation and cleaning protocols and have made many in-salon changes to comply with our state’s “Virginia Forward Phase One Guidelines.”

We believe all of the changes are worth it

because it allows us to see and serve our favorite people ~ our clients!

In accordance with the Virginia Forward Phase One Guidelines*, clients who visit the salon for services must adhere to the following guidelines:

    ~ Social Distancing:

    • The client with an appointment is the only one admitted into the salon. No family members or friends can enter the salon with a client.
    • There are no walk-ins of any kind. A client should call/email ahead to schedule an appointment or arrange a retail curbside pickup.
    • When arriving for an appointment, a client should enter through the salon’s front door. Our front desk team will inform the client where to go so the client has the least amount of face-to-face contact with others.
    • A client should stay at the stylist chair for their entire service except for when being shampooed or needing to use the restroom.
    • If the client needs retail products, please let the service provider know. A team member will get products for the client.
    • Stylist chairs are six feet apart.
    • The salon will be operating at under 50% occupancy.

    ~Children:

    • May have an appointment if child can keep their face covering on while inside the salon.
    • May have only one parent accompany them inside the salon.
    • To keep occupancy down, children’s appointments will be scheduled during low volume times only.

We can all do our part to prevent the spread of illness in our community. For any client who is not feeling well**  please know we are happy to reschedule your appointment for a new date and time with no cancelation fee. Should you have any questions about an upcoming appointment, please give us a call. We would love to hear from you.

Unless the state mandate is extended, we plan on reopening our doors on May 15, 2020,

and we cannot wait to see you!

We want to thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your loyalty, support, and patience. We promise to deliver outstanding customer service, and extraordinary sanitation efforts to help make our community a safer place.
